PARALECTOTYPES. — MNHN-IU-2000-3573 (= MNHN-B3573), 1 male 28.2 × 31.8 mm, New Caledonia. — Original label: “Metopograpsus pictus A. M. Edw., cat. du Muséum 225-63, Nelle Calédonie”. — MNHN-IU-2000-10893 (= MNHN-B10893), 1 male 24.2 × 28.1 mm, 1 female 24.4 × 24.9 mm, Nlle Calédonie, M. Beaudouin; “369-65” is written with Chinese ink directly on the carapaces of both specimens. — MNHN-IU-2000-3572 (= MNHN-B3572), 1 male 17.2 × 20.6 mm, New Caledonia, coll. Beaudouin.
