Vertical range : Shallow to deep-waters (e.g. 10-190 m) - Min-Max observed: 97-1252 m

EASTER ISLAND - Mursia hawaiiensis - Galil, 1993: 364 (r/v Prof. Stockman, cruise 18, stn 1920, 25°44.04'S, 85°24.93'W, 97-1252 m, coll. Zarenkov "information possibly inaccurate"). - FRENCH POLYNESIA - Mursia hawaiiensis - Galil, 1993: 363, fig. 4c, 6d-e, 8a-b (Tuamotu "Rahiroa" = Rairoa?). - Poupin, 1996a: 97 (Checklist). - Remark: Specimen probably dredged by the US Albatross, although the date mentionned in Galil (24.09.1899) was not retrieved among the stations listed by Townsend (1901).
