World Distribution
Poupin (BD Internet) - Polynésie française seulement (Gambier, Société). Plus Réunion, premier signalement.
(Galil & Ng, 2023, Tropical Deep-Sea Benthos) - The species is known from the extant syntype, collected in the Tuamotu Artchipelago, and a single specimen collected in the Glorioso Is (Poupin et al. 2013). Newly recorded for Madagascar.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Soft bottom (mud or sand)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 1-15 m
