Geographic and depth ranges — IWP, Red Sea, Mayotte (this work), Mozambique to Japan, French Polynesia; supratidal, land. Records of this species in Hawaii are Ocypode pallidula Hombron & Jacquinot, 1846 (see Castro, 2011).
