Ozius lobatus Heller, 1865: 21, pl. 2, fig. 4 (Tahiti) fide Chilton & Bennett (1929: 750). - Poupin, 1996a: 65, 77 (Checklist). - Remark: Chilton & Bennett consider, with doubt, that Heller's species is the same as Ozius truncatus. Moreover, they only mention "Australia, Kermadecs" in the distribution of O. lobatus . It is thus possible, as often seen in Heller's work, that this locality was mentioned by error.
