World Distribution
Komai (2010: 1314, J. Nat. Hist.) - Southern Japan, Indonesia, Marshall Islands, French Polynesia, intertidal to 20 m. Newly recorded from the Philippines and New Caledonia.
(Komai et al., 2021, Raffles Bulletin) - Cocos Keeling (6-13 m) and widely distributed in the West Pacific: Japan (Ryukyu Islands), the Philippines, Indonesia, Marshall Islands, New Caledonia, and French Polynesia; coral reef, intertidal to 20 m deep (McLaughlin & Haig, 1984; Komai& Asakura, 1995; Komai & Osawa, 2006; Komai, 2010; Komai & Rahayu, 2013; Poupin et al., 2013).

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 0-20 m
