World Distribution
Castro (2010: 80, Zoosystema) - Wide Indo-West Pacific distribution (Castro 2000: table 6, fi g. 56): Madagascar, southern Japan (type locality: Koshiki Is, southwest of Kyushu), Indonesia, New Caledonia (including the Chesterfield Is), Wallis I., and now the Philippines and Tonga. Depth: 24-710 m (Castro 2000: table 5). Also French Polynesia, Det. P. Castro, MNHN May 2012, from Tarasoc campaign, to be formally published
