World Distribution
Chan (1998: 1015) under P. albiflagellum Chan & Chu, 1996 a junior synonym of P. femoristriga. - Indo-West Pacific from the Maldive Islands, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Great Barrier Reef (Australia), Taiwan, Japan, probably also Solomon Islands, New Hebrides, and French Polynesia. Note: presence is confirmed around the Marquesas, French Polynesia (Poupin, Internet Database). Also Galapagos (Hickman & Zimmerman, 2000: 54), Wallis & Futuna.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 15-35 m

Milne Edwards, 1868) = ? P. albiflagellum Chan & Chu (Material observed by George (1972) is "without cross-bands on the antennular flagella" and could be Panulirus albiflagellum (cf.
