Komai (2008: 281) - Indo-West Pacific - Widely distributed in the tropical to subtropical regions in the Indo-West Pacific: Zanzibar, Maldives, southern Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Tonga, Austral Islands in French Polynesia; 112-970 m, but abundant at depths of 500-800 m.
