Bruce (2011: 120) - Kenya: Mombasa (Bruce 1976b); North Kenya Banks, 82 m, Wasin Island, Wasin Channel; Mombasa, Old Port (Bruce 1976c). Zanzibar: Prison Island; Bawi Island; Chawamba Reef (Bruce 1976c). Tanganyika: Kunduchi (Bruce 1976c). Also known from Oman to Fijian Islands. Also New Caledonia.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Associated with sponges

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 20-34 m
