Ng (2010 : 40) - Océan Indien. Mer Rouge et Madagascar (Nosy Be, intertidal). Comprendrait aussi Mayotte, premier signalement.

Material examined — Mayotte KUW 2009, st. 29 Plage Mboianatsa, hôtel Ngouja, intertidal, 1 M juv. 5.2 x 6.4 mm, 1 F 11.4 x 14.8 mm, MNHN B32382, MNHN-IU-2009-1155.
Remarks — This species was recognized on photographs by P. K. L. Ng. A revision of the genus is in Ng (2010) with an additional species (P. holthuisi) described from Pakistan by Ng & Kazmi (2011).
