Quadrella maculosa - Castro, 1999: 96, Réunion, coll. Marion Dufresne, st. CP43, 73-77 m, 18.VIII.1982, MD82. - Ribes-Beaudemoulin et al. 2002 : 78 (Réunion) ; d'après sa couleur et la présence de tubercules peu épineux sur le mérus des chélipèdes, il est possible que ce spécimen appartienne plutôt à Q. serenei, reconnu à la Réunion par P. Castro sur une photographie très semblable à celle de Ribes-Beaudemoulin et al. (2002). Presence at Réunion confirmed later by BIOLAVE. - Coll. BIOLAVE, 23/02/2012, deep biolave (60-80 m), det. J. Poupin 25/01/2013, 1 Fov 7.5x8.7 mm, 1 juv. 2.8x3.4 mm.
