Bouchard, 16/04/2008, 12°55,368 S, 45°09,267 E, mangrove, burrows in Rhizophora tree roots, mixed with a lot of Neosarmatium meinerti and 1 F of Perisesarma guttatum, 1 M 11.5 x 15.0 mm, photo, MNHN B32262, MNHN-IU-2009-1080.

(2013: 18) for taxonomy of this species. - Chiromantes" ortmanni - Ng et al., 2008 : 220 (Liste des noms valides avec cette indication p. 224 "Sesarma (Sesarma) eulimene De Man, 1895, and Sesarma (Holometopus) ortmanni Crosnier, 1965, are currently in Chiromantes (sensu Ng & Liu, 1999), but an ongoing revision of this genus by P. K. L. Ng and C. D. Schubart (using morphological and molecular data) shows that they should be transferred a new genus").
