Comment - J. Poupin August 2020; photo of S. pyrsonotus in Poupin & Juncker (2010: 203) is from Tahiti and Goy (2015, Zootaxa, Stenopodidean shrimps (Crustacea: Decapoda) from New Caledonian waters) does not mention this species from NC. Therefore presence of this shrimp in NC, although probable, still remains to be confirmed.
