Remarks — Specimens from Mayotte determined with hesitation by P. Castro, in loan for further study (c/o S. Trautwein). Western Indian population of T. rubridactyla is perhaps distinct from population in Coral Sea and western Pacific with color variation of live specimens discussed by Castro (1999b: 44).

Poupin (some ressemblance with Tetralia brengelae Trautwein, 2007, but there is no blue line along the front, between eyes. Also reported under T. brengelae for some specimens showing clearly this blue line).
