Atyoida pilipes - Moorea, coll. Simon Brand (simonjbrandl@gmail.com), Novembre 2017 - We collected it from a reef outcrop just inside the lagoon on the Eastern side of the island - Det. J. Poupin/S. De Grave from photo (an ovigerous female, see photo) - This is a freshwater shrimp, unusually collected at sea. According to S. De Grave (pers. com.) juveniles of this species are sporadically recorded at sea in literature but this record from Moorea would be the first one for an adult specimen.
