Poupin), st. 8, 1 M 10.8 x 12.0 mm, 1 F ov. 13.0 x 16.0 mm (13.5 x 16.0 on field label, photo), MNHN B32117, MNHN-IU-2009-1036; st. 12a, 3 MM 5.5 x 7.0 to 9.0 x 10.6 mm; 3 FF (2 ov.) 4.0 x 5.5 to 10.6 x 13.0 mm (10.6 x 12.6 on field label, photo), MNHN B32118, MNHN-IU-2009-1037; st. 14, 1 M 11.2 x 12.8 mm, 1 F ov. 12.0 x 14.4 mm, mixed and confused with T. rufopunctata, re-det. P. Castro, MNHN B32119, MNHN-IU-2009-1038; st. 23, 1 M juv. 4.8 x 6.0 mm, mixed with Tetralia glaberrima, MNHN B32120, MNHN-IU-2009-1039; st 25, 1 M 5.0 x 6.4 mm, mixed with other Trapezia, det. P. Castro, MNHN B32121, MNHN-IU-2009-1040; st. 32, 1 M 10.5 x 12.0 mm, 1 F ov. 12.5 x 15.5 mm, with and confused with T. rufopunctata, re-det. P. Castro, MNHN B32122, MNHN-IU-2009-1041.
Remarks — Several specimens were mixed and confused with Trapezia rufopunctata during fieldwork (det. J. Poupin). According to P. Castro that has redermined these specimens a good way to separate the two species is the aspect of the front, with low and rounded teeth in T. trigrina, versus longer and sharper in T. rufopunctata.
Geographic and depth ranges — IWP, Red Sea, Mozambique, Mayotte (this work) to Hawaii, French Polynesia, Pitcairn, ?Easter Island; subtidal to 75 m.
