Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 0-20 m

MEPA1618. - BIOTAS 2009, Juan de Nova, outer-reef, st. JDN17, JDN18, lots MEPA-00761, 799 (nr).
Remarks — This species is related to Tweedieia odhneri (Gordon, 1934) reported from Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean to French Polynesia. Crosnier has indicated (footnote, p. 253 in Serène, 1984) that "compte tenu des variations individuelles" the differences between the two species are not clear and in need of revision.
Geographic and depth ranges — IWP, Seychelles (Aldabra), Mayotte (this work) to Hawaii, French Polynesia; intertidal, subtidal.
