World Distribution
Davie (2002) - Christmas Island Indonesia, South China Sea, Vietnam, Philippines French Polynesia
(Lasley et al., 2022, JCB) - Tweedieia odhneri occurs on reefs across the Indo-West Pacific from islands in the western Indian Ocean to the Hawaiian Islands and the Gambier Islands (French Polynesia), but it is relatively rare around large islands and continents, including Australia, Southeast Asia, and the coral triangle. 2 to about 70 m. Most previous IWP records of T. laysani are corrected into T. odhneri in this contribution, the former currently distributed only from Hawaii.
