Davie (2002: 119) - Indo-West Pacific from South Africa to Hawaii, Australia (type locality Port Curtis), and Kermadec. Japan in Sakai (2004, ETI CD), Japan. Also south of French Polynesia, Rapa, from this database. Includes Mauritius, Réunion.

Dejouannet. - Remark - Determination based on Tan S.-H. comment, comparaison with Miers (1877) plate 14, and geographic place (Rapa at similar latitude of Kermadec Islands where this species is also reported). - Actaeomorpha ?erosa. - AAMP, Marquesas, 2012, Leg 3, St. MQ2-B, Nuku Hiva, 20-23 m, coll.
