Vertical range : Deep (more than 100 m) - Min-Max observed: 600-780 m

Cyrtomaia sp. nov 1-2. - Poupin et al., 1990: 17 (French Polynesia ; picture pl. 3b could be in fact the real C. ihlei). - Cyrtomaia sp. nov. cf. ihlei. - Poupin, 1996b: 32, pl. 15a (Fangataufa, Moruroa; 600-780m; coll. Frv Marara, fr). - Remark: carapace smooth rather than granulous in typical Cyrtomaia ihlei.

Comment(s) on data
Ressembles C. ihlei but with carapace more smooth. Probably a new species (cf. D. Guinot pre-det).
