(Sakai, CD ETI; Na, 1997) - Western Pacific. Japan, Marianas, Pagan, Guam, Hawaii, Marquesas. Plus French Polynesia (Tuamotu). Also Mayotte.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 1-25 m

Aethra edentata - Mission KUW novembre 2009, st. 25, Ilot M'tzamboro, Pointe Sud, 15-20 m, 1 femelle 19,4x30,3 mm, MNHN B32402 (voir commentaires). Observation Matthias Deuss, juillet 2011, photo in situ, attribué à A. edentata d'après les bords peu découpés de la carapace).
