Mayotte data
Palapedia integra (De Haan, 1835)
Material examined — Mayotte KUW 2009, Mayotte, st. 14, La Prudente Bank, 15-17 m, 1 F 9 x 10 mm, det. September 2011, MNHN-IU-2009-3225 (same sp. than Palapedia marquesa (Serène, 1972) in field report by Bouchard et al., 2009: 80).
Remarks — The specimen was determined by using Serène (1972) key and description with most of the characters being those of P. integra, especially sinous aspect of the front. In a related species, P. bongensis (Serène, 1972), the front is straight. Anker & Michonneau have collected in 2008 a specimen from Mayotte deposited in FLMNH under Palapedia bongensis (UF 13651), a species known with certainty from Philippines and Japan (Ng, 1993: 153). This specimen should be checked to confirm that P. bongenis is in Mayotte or to verify that it is not P. integra instead.
Geographic and depth ranges — IWP, Mayotte (this work), Réunion, Mauritius to China, Japan, Gilber Islands, ?Hawaii (questionable in Castro, 2011); shallow subtidal to 115 m

Réunion data
Palapedia integra - Réunion, photos in situ, 2016, P. Bourjon, J.P. Quod. Det. J. Poupin.

Comment(s) on data
Palapedia bongensis - Coll. Anker & Michonneau, 2008, Mayotte, st. MAY08-St6, Passe en S, UF 13651 (Probably not P. bongensis (Serène, 1972) reported from certainty from Philippines and Japan (cf. Ng, 1993: 153) but P. integra instead, recognized during KUW 2009 at st. 14).
