Comment(s) on data
Mail A.J. Bruce (February 9, 2014) - Long overdue, I have just been cleaning out my garage. Among the detritus I found a tube with a single small shrimp specimen in it. The data is: Periclimenes Récoltes SMBC (J. Poupin) Polynésie francaise Archipel des Tuamotu (Gambier) 22°02'S 135°00'W, 5 décembre 1988, 530 m. What was the name of the expedition and what was the ship? Any photos? Fortunately, after some 20 years, the shrimp was still damp and was in good condition. It appears to be Periclimenes crosnieri, known only from the Tanimbar Islands about 300 m.
