Djibouti (Nobili 1904); Suba off Seba, Indonesia (de Man 1928b), Tuléar Madagascar, Philippines, Tahiti (Sakai 1999), Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia. Includes Wallis & Futuna, Comoros (Mayotte), Réunion.
Komai et al. (2015, Fauna Ryukyuana) - IWP, Djibouti to French Polynesia. Distribution uncertain due to confusion with C. borradailei.
Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Soft bottom (mud or sand)
Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 0-15 m
