EASTER ISLAND - Sergestes consobrinus - Guzmán, 2003: 1036 (Easter Island, CIMAR-5, stn 35, 27°11'S, 109°15'W, Isaac-Kids midwater trawl, 450 m) - Probably not this species according to Vereshchaka (2009, Galathea Report 22), distribution Fig. 58 (and this remark p. 116 - As S. consobrinus occurs far from this area (Milne 1968; Judkins 1978) and may be easily confused with S. brevispinatus and S. orientalis living in the Southeast Pacific, I suspect that Guillermo Guzmán’s (2002) report is not correct.)
CLIPPERTON - Sergestes consobrinus - Vereshchaka (2009, Galathea Report 22), distribution Fig. 58, p. 116, Northeastern and Central North Pacific, potentially Clipperton.
