Also known from Egypt, Israel, Djibouti, Aden, Kenya, Zanzibar, Tanzania, Mozambique, Comoro Islands, Madagascar, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Burma, Malaya, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland), New Caledonia, Loyalty Islands, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, and Fiji. Also French Polynesia (Austral, Marquesas, Tuamotu, 0-24 m.
