Trautwein (2007: 7, Zootaxa) - Distribution. Tetralia aurantistellata has so far been identified from Philippine Is., Loyalty Islands and Fiji.

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 1-20 m
