Dominica, Barbados, Trinidad, Isla Los Roques, Isla de Aves, Bonaire, Curagao, Aruba, Isla de Providencia, Swan Is.). Brazilian records of this species in the older literature need verification. According to Lemaitre & Tavares (2015, Zootaxa, fig. 2) this species is absent from Brazil its southernmost extension being Trinidad & Tobago.

'Isla de Aves' in Chace & Hobbs (1969) indicated between Los Roques and Bonaire, is probably not Las Aves archipelago. A photo of the mass migration of female to the sea to lay their eggs in St Barthélemy is in Questel (2019)
