Osachila tuberosa – GBIF 2023, Suriname [From Complementary Benthic Biodiversity Baseline Survey, Block 58, Suriname, 2021, trawl, 63–146 m, det. Ugalde & Conejeros-Vargas, 4 occurrences, 63–146 m, e.g. https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/3913939583].
Distribution/Habitat – WA; Marine; 40–280 m.
Remark – See Poupin (2018: 174) for difficulty to separate O. antillensis and O. tuberosa, potentially conspecific. From the same GBIF dataset Osachila semilevis Rathbun, 1916 is also listed from Suriname (at https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/3913938814). Pending a more formal publication, it is not listed herein because too far from usual geographic range of this species (North Carolina to Gulf of Mexico only in Felder et al., 2009).

Comment(s) on data
Based on the eroded/not much eroded aspect of carapace, it seems that both O. antillensis/O. tuberosa are present in Guadeloupe, and that some lots have been confused, i.e. MNHN-IU-2013-4545, det. Besse, mars 2013, GN14, JL333, as O. tuberosa, has an eroded carapace and is probably O. antillensis.
