World Distribution
Wenner (1978: 1053, Canadian Journal of Zoology) - Sabinea hystrix has a geographic range in the western Atlantic from the Davis Strait (Hansen 1908) to Guadeloupe (Milne-Edwards 1881) with a reported depth range between 536 and 3957 m. Recently, Crosnier and Forest (1973) established the presence of S. hystrix in the eastern Atlantic off the coast of Africa (23O57'N- 17O15'W) at 1435 m. - Felder et al.
