Comment: Overall characters of specimen examined from Guadeloupe (MNHN-IU-2013-16321) are those described in Rathbun (1930: 514) except for the 'dense hairy coat of carapace' reduced to patches on anterior half; however, Rathbun indicates that this pubescens 'is not evenly distributed'. The pleopod of this specimen matches the illustration in Williams (1984: 429, fig. 340d).
