West Indian Ocean: Réunion. - Indonesia: Banda Islands, Moluccas. - Philippines. - West Pacific: Marshall Islands (Enawetak atoll). - Central Pacific: Hawaii; French Polynesia: Austral Islands (Rurutu), Society Island (Tahiti), Tuamotu. Deep distribution: 20-80 meters. Also Réunion, Mayotte.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 1-80 m
