Comment: the determination is based on shape of chela, not more than three time its greatest width following Rathbun (1925). In addition it must be checked on the specimens that the ventral margin of P3 has no spines. There is only one WA related species (A. furcillatus) also collected during Karubenthos and clearly distinct by the shape of its chela.
