Pilumnus miersii A. Milne-Edwards, 1880 (1873-1880): 292, pl. 52 (or pl. 51), fig. 3 (Cette espèce provient des Antilles). - Nobili, 1898: 2, St Thomas [coll. Duchassaing]. - Rathbun, 1930: 510, 'Antilles', type in Paris'.
Comment: This species is apparently known only by the types specimens, in Paris MNHN, and St Thomas in Nobili (1898). Rathbun (1930) indicates two dried specimens, the larger a female, collector Fréminville. The place of collection for the types is perhaps Lesser Antilles.
