As Potimirim sp. nov. 2 Torati & Mantellato, 2012 in Torati & Mantellato (2012, JCB) - Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad, Tobago.

Environnement : Freshwater - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Land & Freshwater - Min-Max observed: 0-0 m

Potimirim glabra - Chace, 1972: 15, Tobago, Trinidad. - Lévêque, 1974: 43, Guadeloupe. - Hart, 1980: tab. 2, Tobago. - Monti et al., 2010: 32, 50 (Guadeloupe). - Lim et al., 2002: 36 [Possibily that Potimirim glabra (Kingsley, 1878) is also present in Martinique but specimens lost and determination not confirmed].
Potimirim sp. nov. 2 Torati & Mantellato, 2012: 628, tab. 1, Tobago, Trinidad.
Comment: A new species to be published in the future, identified with molecular sequencing.
Comment: In Torati & Mantelatto (2012) - The need for a new name to those “P. glabra” of the Caribbean is highlighted, and it was provisionally referred as Potimirim sp. 2 - Potimirim glabra sensu stricto is only for populations of the Pacific slope of Central America.
