World Distribution
Felder et al. (2009) - E–SW Fla, Yuc, Antil–Ven, Brazil. - Crane (1975) - West Indies, from Bahamas and Puerto Rico south; Mexico (see p. 307); South America from Turiamo, State of Aragua, Venezuela to Florianapolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The species has not been reported from Florida in recent years, and has never been recorded between Trinidad and Recife.
