World Distribution
Osawa (2009: 165, Bulletin Nat. Mus. Sci.) - Hainan Island in China, Palau, New Caledonia, and now Ryukyu Archipelago, southern Japan. The present specimen of Okinawa Island was collected from interspaces of dead coral block at a depth of 1m, whereas the specimens of New Caledonia were obtained at depths of 7–31 m (Osawa, 2007).

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 7-31 m
