Comment: determination is based on A. Milne Edwards & Bouvier (1897a: 101, pl. 8, fig. 7) including 2 characteristic basal spines at inner base of merus of cheliped. Mayo (1974, fig. 3) has illustrated setae on inner margin of chelipeds that are no visible on photos, probably because of the specimens have dried.
