Comment: According to A. Milne-Edwards & Bouvier (1902: 116) it is 'très voisine de la L. cadaverosa'. Additional specimens are needed to clarify its status.

It seems that this species is still known only from the type specimen from St Croix (cf. Rathbun, 1933). New record for GMx in Felder et al. (2009, note 263).
