Chace (1972: 21) - Bermudas and Florida to Estado de Sao Paulo, Brazil, littoral.
(Fransen 2023, Zootaxa) - widely distributed in the western Atlantic from Bermuda to Uruguay in the intertidal to about 5 m depth (De Grave & Anker 2017; Poupin 2018).

Environnement : Brackish - Substrat/Association : Soft bottom (mud or sand)

Vertical range : Intertidal - Min-Max observed: 0-5 m
