Comment(s) on data
This species sometimes confused with A. estuariensis, cf. Christoffersen (1984: 204) - Apart from the misidentifications referred by Chace (1972), I have found that specimens assigned to A. heterochaelis from Texas (Evermann, 1892) and Curacao (Schmitt, 1924) belong to A. estuariensis, sp. (Not Crangron heterochaelis - Schmitt, 1924: 65, Curaçao = A. estuariensis, cf. Christoffersen (1984: 191).
