Alpheus hortensis - Guadeloupe, Karubenthos 2012, det. A. Anker MNHN 2014, MNHN-IU-2013-12074, st. GB19, 11 m, JL987 [Alpheus ?hortensis]; MNHN-IU-2013-16128, st. GB23, 16 m, JL1124; MNHN-IU-2013-12024, st. GB31, 15 m, JL1429.
Comment: Anker et al. (2016: 19) indicate that Rodriguez’s record from Los Roques ‘may well correspond to A. crockeri and not A. hortensis as suggested by Wicksten & McClure (2003); therefore, the western Atlantic range of A. crockeri may well extend into the Caribbean Sea’.
