Holthuis (1991, FAO: 125) - Western Atlantic, from Grenadines to Brazil. (Takeda, 1983) - 95-1000 m. (Sasaki, 2019) - Suriname, Brazil (Amapŕ) 120-298 m, but there is a record from the littoral zone, and one from 4,111-4,122 m.
Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)
Vertical range : Shallow to deep-waters (e.g. 10-190 m) - Min-Max observed: 95-1000 m
