Comment: this determination is based on Rathbun (1925, pl. 170, fig. 2). However, the specimen must be checked because carapace and front are partly hidden by algae. This species was already reported from Dominica at a similar depth (73 m) and at Guadeloupe during Karubenthos 2012 (16 m).

Macrocoeloma intermedium - st. GR43, 23 May 2012, 16°21.26'N, 61°37.79'W, 2 m, MNHN-IU-2013-5916 (JL1268, 1 male = error for M. laevigatum (re-det Poupin, December 2015).
Comment Poupin, December 2015: MNHN-IU-2013-4767 should be verified in MNHN as the other specimen checked under that species was in fact M. laevigatum.
