Comments: See the remark of Santana et al. (2004: 859 - Journal of Plankton Research, 26(8): 859-874) about the distribution of Stenocionops furcatus coelatus within the range of Stenocionops furcatus. Records of Stenocionops furcatus from Lesser Antilles are possibly Stenocionops coelatus.
