Lemaitre & McLaughlin (1996, Bull. of Marine Science) - Caribbean Sea: so far known only from the western Caribbean, and west of Puerto Rico; 91-585 m. Also Curaçao, Guadeloupe.

Comment: this is a first record for Guadeloupe Island but this species that is rarely reported in the litterature was already known from Lesser Antilles (Curaçao) from unpublished field observations made by submersible at 246 m (R. Lematire, com. pers.).
