García-Gómez (1983, Bull. Mar. Sc.) - 73-471 m. The present colIections comprise specimens of I. globulus colIected in the Straits of Florida; the Northwest Providence Channel, Bahama Islands; off Barbados, and Golfo de Uraba, Colombia; these two latter localities are new records for I. globulus.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Soft bottom (mud or sand)

Vertical range : Shallow to deep-waters (e.g. 10-190 m) - Min-Max observed: 73-431 m
