Orthostoma dentata Randall, 1840: 122, Suriname [type-locality, restricted by Holthuis, 1959: 214, It seems quite possible that Randall's material was collected in Suriname by C. Hering, and for that reason the type locality is restricted here to Paramaribo, Suriname].
