Williams (1993) - In Jamaica, the species lives commensally as male-female pairs in the agelasid sponge, Agelas sceptrum (Lamarck), and in A. dispar Duchassaing and Michelotti on the Florida Middle Grounds in the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the Bahama Islands (Williams, 1987).
